Heathfield Junior School is maintained by the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames and follows its policy on admissions.

The school is open to any child in the age range of 7+ to 11. Please contact your local authority, Richmond or Hounslow, for further information.

Applications for Year 3

Please note that all applications for Year 3 places must be completed online using the eAdmissions website.

All parents are required to complete an application for a Year 3 place in the school. The application should be made while your child is in Year 2 and completed online by 15th January of the year they are in Year 2. Places are then offered using the local authority criteria.

 

In-year admissions

The school has four forms of entry. Standard numbers are 120 children in each year group.

If you would like a place in Heathfield Junior School during the academic year you should contact the Local Authority Admissions Team on richmond.admissions@achievingforchildren.org.uk stating the year group you are interested in and providing your phone number. The admissions team operate a telephone call back service on request. They will then be able to call you and let you know whether the school has a vacancy in the year group you require.

Applications for Secondary School

Once your child joins Year 6 you will need to apply for their secondary school place.

The closing date for secondary school applications is the end of October of the year they are in Year 6. Applications are made via the eAdmissions website.
